With Daeniroth’s words taken to heart the adventurers all ran off for cover behind the nearest corner, each still an unknown quantity they try to coordinate their attacks on the ogre with limited success. As they made their way in front of the ogre a 3-man defense blocked any forward movement by the raiders. Quevven stayed near the back launching powerful arcane attacks often too powerful as they flew wildly, missing badly.
Yuriel, trying to cut off the source of ignition, used his swiftcurrent ability to fluidly make his way past the ogre and into the wagon. Daeniroth using his years of experience helped Gor find the weak spots in their shared foe. On the wagon the archers now facing a direct attack were forced to abandon their bows and take up short swords to attack their liquid foe. The ogres body begins showing deep gashes as the rain of precise blows from the pair took its toll. Gor lumbered his way on to the wagon hoping to find and advantageous position to attack all the bandits at once.
The goblins sensing their ride of destruction was over began trying to escape off the back one never has the chance and was cut down; the other disappeared into the night darkness illuminated only by the burning destruction he and his fellow bandits had brought upon the town.
As the night sky was lit by fire the citizens of Brindol fought hard against their attackers and the destruction they caused and finally deep into the night hours the last fire was put out. The tired adventurers were met with a heroes welcome as they returned to the Antler & Thistle, the owner offering them free lodging for the night.
