As the adventurers made their way to the town green there’s a lone hobgoblin in stocks and shackles. His wounds from last night’s battle have been bandaged, but a number of tomatoes on the ground near him and on the surface of the stocks indicate that his treatment hasn’t been completely kind. Deneroth shows the letter from Troyas to one of the guardsmen “Troyas has sent you to interrogate this prisoner? We’ll leave you to that task he goes by Morrik.” With that the guards went about twenty feet away and began talking with themselves.
The hobgoblin takes one weary look at them and says, “I ain’t saying nothin’ unless you people let me go.”
What followed was an interesting contest of wills as the group used their bargaining skills, knowledge and a bit of intimidation to persuade the captive to divulge any and all information about this new threat to the region. They walked away with the knowledge that a new group was trying to bring back the glory of the Red Hand continuing their terrorizing, pillaging and destruction of the area. But most importantly a crude map hopefully leading to location where they might find the captives, The Rivenroar Catacombs.
